FREESTYLE SESSIONS 
Freestyle sessions are available to anyone involved in Learn-to-Skate who is interested in coming to practice without the chaos of public sessions.  Freestyle sessions are also a great time to schedule private lessons!

Times are as follows:
Monday:  2:30-5:00 PM
Wednesday:  2:30-5:00 PM
Thursday:  2:30-5:00 PM
Friday:  2:30-4:30 PM
Sunday:  5:30-7:30 PM

If you decide to utilize this ice time, please sign in at the front office upon arrival, and check out the learn to skate board (around the corner from skate rental) to review the Freestyle Etiquette and Rules with your skater.  Than you will be ready to get on the ice!

PRIVATE LESSONS
Private Lessons are still available!  Please let me know if you are interested in scheduling any private lessons with any coach. I will be more than happy to point you in the right direction!

There is over 50 years of coaching experience throughout our group of coaches. We have all tested in ISI, USFSA, or both in a recreational and competitive environment.  Several of us have studied dance and gymnastics to compliment our ice skating skills, and have participated in and also taught off-ice training and technique classes.

Operation At Ease

Rewarding deserving soldiers and their families with a complimentary R&R weekend on the Carolina Coast.  Thanks OAE for making a difference by serving those who keep us free!  Just a note they are booked up for this season. However they might have some cancellations, so you can email them, but keep in mind it may be booked up.

Operation At Ease is St. James Plantation community’s way of saying Thank you! to the active duty military personnel returning from or about to deploy to Iraq and Afghanistan.  Their offer is a few days of complimentary lodging and activities at no cost to the service person or his/her family.  All you just need to get here and absorb the cost of a few meals.  They can accommodate 2-4 adults or a family with several children.
So about Brunswick County NC offers much recreation such as St James Plantation, a residential golf course community, which is about a 2.5 – 3 hour drive from Ft. Bragg.  We are on the Inter-coastal Waterway (ICW) and just a few minutes from the beaches on Oak Island, N.C.  Southport and its historic section and shops are close by 
(www.downtownsouthport.org).   Wilmington, NC, is approximately a 45 minute drive (www.capefearguide.com.) 
OAE offers tennis, 3 swimming pools (including one indoor pool), biking, a marina, and access to our beach club facility on Oak Island. Our local theatre is offering free movie passes and two local restaurants are providing a complimentary breakfast.
Each family can choose one of the following complimentary activities, pending availability at the time requested:
  • Golf
  • A massage or facial
  • A boat ride on the ICW
  • A walking tour of historic Southport
  • Participation in a guided kayak trip
  • Family pictures taken on the beach
Various individuals donate their condos for long weekends specifically for Operation At Ease.
  • Condos are generally 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, with a full kitchen (elevators are not available)
  • Lockout units accommodate two individuals and have an efficiency kitchen with a microwave and small refrigerator (elevators are not available).
  • Linens and cleaning are included.
  • Arrival time is after 11:00 a.m. – Departure is anytime on the afternoon of the final day.
  • We provide one dinner, breakfast and snacks
  • All units are smoke and pet-free
